Consumer day.

I have now purchased the 16 Ton Megaset of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

I am quite happy.

I purchased the first three sets of it on VHS at one point, but just balked at the $169 price tag on the complete DVD set. Sam's Club, however, had it for $109.99 at one point, and when I came back a week later, they were out already. I so should have bought it. Anyway, now they have the thin-case 16 ton set, which includes two live DVDs, so I had to get it, because though it was selling at Best Buy for $124.99, it was $95.99 at Sam's Club, and I grabbed it RIGHT NOW KTHNXBAI. I just did NOT want to go through the whole "whyyyyyy didn't I buy it when I first saw it" thing like last time. Before my VCR so sadly ate a tape and refused to eject it, I used to watch them every so often, because it's just so nice to craft while listening (and occasionally watching) something funny. Keeps your mind lively, y'know!

Also bought "We ♥ Katamari" for the Playstation 2. I loved the first one, and this one looks like it's a lot of fun as well. squee!

Gosh, almost nobody was online this weekend, it seems. Thank goodness [livejournal.com profile] gillieweed was there so we could throw pumpkins at each other occasionally.

HEehehe.... I am stealing an internet connection to get my computer online... one of those mission impossible thinkgs. :)

Awesome! But I thought, with all of your bohemian gangster connections you'd have no trouble getting access...*laughs*

*envy* ;)

Good move on picking it up before non-buyers remorse set in!

Good move on picking it up before non-buyers remorse set in!

*boggles* I watched a show yesterday where the hostess, who was selling some things QVC style, said, "If you don't buy this today, tomorrow you'll have buyer's remorse!" Someone off-camera, I think, signalled, and she said, "Er, I mean, non-buyer's remorse!" I laughed and laughed.

And now you say it! What a funny coincidence.

Come over and watch with me! :)

I dunno - I had a surreally busy weekend on LJ, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] dazzleberry.

You were one of the few who were running about!

And congrats on getting recc'd and mentioned! That is totally awesome!

Performs the fish dance in your honour...

The fish-slapping dance is truly one of the highlights.

I cannot wait to see the rest of the episodes. There are only three seasons, I think, but I've seen the first season and a half about three billion times, and some of the last season I've never seen.

*is excited*

Oh do enjoy! I've been hankering after watching one of the films today, maybe Life of Brian. I even went and looked up how much the set of them was to buy on DVD.

Yay for the Pythons!

I love that their shows were nearly devoid of topical humor. You can watch them now, and they're just as hysterical, because they really don't seem dated. What an achievement!

I wuz on line, yo. :)

Monty Python DVD is probably a good investment because there is no way that ever, ever gets old.

hee! That's true. You were one of the few!

I love MP so much. Their humor is terrific, and it doesn't seem dated at all. I still laugh myself sick over some of their sketches.
