Blah blah blah

This weekend: very nice. Loved watching the Oscars. I always do. Bought a Sirius receiver and home kit. Had some yummy food. The parents came over with my sister and we had dessert while we watched the Oscars. All lovely. Well, except that I bought Tales of Symphonia or something like that and it was not what I had hoped for, and I'd rather play more FF, and I don't really have time for a video game, so it is just going to sit there all useless-like and stuff. But other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

Tomorrow: More cold calling. Excuse me while I page the waaaaaaaaaaaaambulance.

Bought a Sirius receiver and home kit.

Is that like a two-way mirror that allows one to talk to that mangy mut who was offed by a curtain?

bwahahaha!!

Naw, he's gone for good, sorry. ;)

*sigh* That was me, sorry.

Cold calling seems so gruesome.

Is there anything worse than cold calling?
The thought -- disgusting, appalling.
Yet so much very worse,
Which I know chapter & verse,
Is poverty. Isn't that galling?

I can always count on you for a bit of verse. :)

Y'know, people are so fed up with cold callers that it's kind of hard to actually get my business stated. Wah!

I fear you're right. And w/o an established network, or at least something you can build into a network, there aren't a lot of options. Everyone in a decision-making capacity is overloaded with (mis)information.

I wish I could offer you some advice here.

I can offer you my love & best wishes, which you most certainly have.

Aw...they should bottle you and give you to everyone in the planet. You are so sweet! I'm really touched. Thank you.

It's beginning to look better. I have 9 days scheduled. Now if I can just get the other 21 done I'll be a really happy camper. ;)

[identity profile] avus.livejournal.com 2006-03-07 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
You are too kind.

Best of luck!

Oh, and by the way, should you stray into Colorado. send me an email. We have an extra room, free almost all the time, and my wife & I would be delighted to have you.

Aw, what a sweet offer! The route through Colorado isn't quite fixed yet, but I think I will be stopping in the Boulder/Colorado area, or perhaps the Ft Collins area.

I may take you up on that! :)

[identity profile] avus.livejournal.com 2006-03-07 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
You are certainly more than welcome.

We're on Pikes Peak, about 30 minutes from Colorado Springs. Boulder is, perhaps, 2.5 hours away. My son is getting married April 1, and we're going to be back in IL for that & visiting family. We're seeing the sandhill crane migration in the San Luis Valley around March 19-21, and my granddaughter's birthday will find us out of town around April 15. I think those are our present commitments. Drop me an email, avus1927@yahoo.com, when things get a bit clearer either way.

Happy journey!

I will definitely do that! Thank you so much!
