Because I just found this.

Not only did scatteredlogic nominate me, but five people actually agreed! So I think that means I'll be on the hpficmasterlist thing.

I'm really astonished. I mean, I missed the entire thing, really, and never mentioned it on LJ, and yet people started it and seconded it! I'm totally glowing.

And I've gone from 2100 words to 4000 words in the next chapter, all done last night.

Oh, terrific!

The chapter is very nearly done now, and I'm at 6,100+, and that's without being beta-read. I'll go back and embellish a bit and cut a bit, but still, this is the longest chapter evah. I'm really caught between "is it great?" and "is it absolutely all over the place?", so right now I'm a bit panicked, but I have a gut feeling that it is exactly what the story needs right now, so I'm just trying to go with the flow.
