pottersues is ending. Unless someone takes over for it, but honestly, it's a big job, and I wonder if anyone really will be able to find, read, and code a Sue a day. I know I couldn't.

Pottersues is the entire reason I got into LJ.

I started reading at fanfictionnet, and a friend mentioned Mary Sues, and I did a search on them. It led me (eventually) to Pottersues, and I spent three days howling over how funny it was.

I'm not as absorbed by badfic as I was, but I still have a soft spot in my head---er, heart for Pottersues.

Weirdly enough, I was just telling agatha_s that I was thinking of defriending Pottersues. My flist is getting bulky again and I need to cut down somehow. Still, it will be a sad moment.

It was one of the things I first found on lj. I don't think it's been as good since the Original Pottersues went - she was brillianty witty, and her replacement lacked the brilliant sarcasm.

It's a bit like the original Babb Chronicles. That has never really been the same, for me since it changed hands. I used to depend on that to make me smile on a Friday.

Yeah, after the changeover I noticed that I wasn't as interested, which led me to thinking of defriending this week. The fpage is insane enough, and once winter begins in earnest, I'll be hard-pressed to keep up.

I do miss babb, too. That was so very much fun for awhile!
