Falling asleep...at...the...keyboard.

My show today was disappointing. Extremely disappointing. For the first time in three years I did a lot less than I usually do at show with my own craft. *sigh* Thank goodness for that lot of merchandise I bagged up yesterday...I did have a few customers who bought that.

I'm so tired. The night before a show it's always..."1 am? I have to get in bed! I have to be up at 5. Okay, in bed...thinking of show...tablecloths! I forgot tablecloths. I'll get those now. Okay, back in bed...lights! I forgot lights! I'll get those now....Okay, back in bed...change! etc.

So I end up getting two hours sleep, and then get up at 5 am and run around like crazy and set up, and then sit and watch people look at my merchandise that I've spent much time and energy making, and wonder why on Earth I bother with this occupation...why didn't I take that Periodicals Manager job in 96?

*sigh*

I was next to a woman who takes giftwrapping paper and lacquers it somehow onto glass plates. Ugly, ugly, ugly giftwrapping paper. With John Deere tractors. And weird squash/vegetable medleys straight from 1974 wallpaper. I am not making this up. I really, really wonder where she got this idea, and how she decided to run with it. And who inspired her. "The masses need plates shellacked with images of shellfish!"

New chapter finally ensconced in ffnet...thank goodness it's working again. Two new reviews...yet another one saying, fifty+ chapters and no romance? Listen, it's all about the sloooooooow burn. Heh. No, actually, I think that Snape---at least this interpretation of him---needs a little time to notice things. And a little more time than the average male to figure it all out. And Sarah isn't really well-versed in this either.

I'm so sleeeeeeepy. I will be going to bed very, very soon.

My son Eric would have loved the John Deere paper. How do I know?

I have some! :-D

Not pretty, no, but for little boys who love John Deere, well...

As paper, sure. As a decorative plate? Uh...no thanks. ;) Then again, I'm not into decorative plates.

A craft show...and I have...crafty things. Hmmm. They're on the tail end of fine art. Sort of between the two. ;)
