Ugh.

I am trying, really, to catch up with the flist, but I woke up with evil neck pain, and it is getting worse. I couldn't go out and do the things I needed to do. I was afraid to drive because I cannot turn my head to the right side unless I do it very slowly or use my torso instead. Since seeing right and left rather quickly is an integral part of driving I just stayed home instead.

Have printed out the last six chapters of tLS so that I can lay down on the couch and read them. I'm such a geek. I can't stop with the HP, not even for a moment. Hee hee.

Urgh. I even took ibuprofen. Must find heating pad.

I'm so lucky that I have this big beautiful couch from the twenties that has curved sides...it is calling me now.

Do you think you slept funny on it? you need to be careful with neck injuries but the ibruprofen should help. Feel better soon.

Yes, you are absolutely correct, I was incredibly tired last night and slept in a bad position.

I am going to bed now, just wanted to check in...will take the heating pad with me for a few minutes heat before I go to sleep. Thanks for the concern!

Is your supply of awesome icons unlimited? ;)

use the rice bag of wonders. Take a pillowcase (preferably old), pour in some rice (I've got crappy minute rice in mine), nuke it in the microwave for like 2 minutes or so. Instant moist heat pack. Stays hot for a long time too. What is amazing about the rice bag of wonder is that you can mold it to the body part. Hope you are feeling better soon!

I did find my regular heating pad, so I was happy. I still am in a bit of pain this morning, but it's nowhere near last night, so I am happy about that.

The rice idea is interesting...I will keep that in mind! Thanks for the well-wishing. :)
