valis2: Stone lion face (aggressive)

*giggles*

Yesterday, while I was researching insurance statutes in Georgia, I became aware that the building that houses the Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commission is called the James H. "Sloppy" Floyd Building.

This amused me to no end.

Also, Idaho has a Freedom of Choice of Dentures Act. We can all sleep more soundly now.

I'm trying to decide whether or not it's wise to ask you why you were researching insurance statutes in GA.

I know I'm not going to ask why you were looking in the Idaho code of law for dentures.

Oh, it's all in a day's work, at the day job. ;) Believe me, those are pretty normal links for me to pursue there.

I really hope you were looking at those things for work purposes, not for fun. :-)

There are some great laws mentioned here if you're ever looking for a way to kill time. I would love to know the story behind some of them. I mean, US towns just don't declare it illegal for lions to walk the streets without a good reason, you know?

Oh yes, it was all for work. I regularly investigate such profound matters there. ;)

I can't imagine anyone pulling over a lion, though!

Of course, Georgia also has the most unique legal privilege of all of the states. Why it is necessary to have a veterinarian-client privilege I do not know. This, of course, assumes the owner is the client, not the animal.

ROFL!!!

That's hilarious!
