Today--good day.

Today's eBay statistics:

3 1/2 hours packaging.
1 roll packing tape.
30 packages.
77 lbs.
1 very full cargo space in my mini SUV.
$190 bill for shipping.

1 very happy valis. Yes, nearly all of the video game stuff is gone! All of the big bulky stuff has been shipped. There are just a few games left.

PS: Yesterday's Mr. Brain has sent me a new email--he is going to get a Paypal account so that he can send me a money order. *headdesk*

Also--I HAVE SHOOZ!!! OMG!

I ordered these (in coffee bean) and these from Zappos and OMG THEY FIT AND EVERYTHING. *hyperventilates* Srsly, this is amazing. I had ordered two pairs so that I would double my chances of having shoes that fit--and they both fit!!! I am keeping them both, you had better believe it. I feel like I've struck gold--twice.

Now let's hope that I still like them after wearing them for a whole day, lol.

If the shoe fits... XD

Sreriously, it is hard to find shoes that fit! May try zappos, I am a 10 AA

My left foot is 11 1/2 C/D, and my right is between a 10 1/2 and an 11 C/D, so you see my problem! Most shoemakers don't bother with 11 1/2--they go straight from 11 to 12. And wide? ha! Forget it! It's easier to find 10 1/2 than 11 1/2.

Definitely try Zappos--they have a link for Narrow shoes and a link for wide shoes. I adore them. Returns are a breeze, and they're so easy to deal with!

ROFL. Oh dear. This boy deserves a prize for achievements in idiocy.

I tried explaining that he didn't have to have a Paypal account to send me a money order, but I'm not very optimistic about that fact sinking in. lol.

Um again... I left a comment on the other post but... did you consider he may not be US American and may be totally confused why you won't give him your account information?
I'm still smiling here. There might be a miscommunication that neither that guy nor I on the other side of that ocean really grasp...

On the other hand - let him get a paypal account and make life easier for his future ebay acquisitions.

The fact that he has a States address proves nothing, of course--he could have just moved here.

But just to give you a statistic--I've completed a couple thousand transactions at this point, including at least a hundred overseas transactions, and never once done a bank transfer. Paypal is pretty much my standard, and my listings display that I accept Paypal ONLY.

I would never give out my numbers to a buyer--never ever. I don't even have "bank transfer" as an option. Mostly because I'm paranoid. It's far too easy to do naughty things with those numbers here. I don't talk to many other sellers, but the few I do speak with don't do transfers either, and they're all US-based.

He's a brand new eBayer--0 transactions. There is a small chance, like I said, that he just moved here and opened a new eBay account, but I think it's more likely that he's a bit inexperienced.

You can see why I'm worried! ;)

I'm totally crossing my fingers that he does! hee.

Cultural differences are funny! Pretty much everybody on ebay.de gives their account number and bank details so buyers can transfer money. Even those that prefer paypal. I would always use paypal if they offer it, but much rather use a bank order than give them my credit card details.
I'm guessing that this may be because credit cards only came into existence 10, 15 years ago. I mean, business men had them before that, but private people practically just started. Bank transfers on the other hand are what we do every day. Ever since the 50s, your monthly paycheque came into your bank account directly. Even the 100 Euro jobs don't get cheques or cash, they receive a money order.

I bet it's about asrisky to use one or the other. It's just what you are used to that scares you less :-)
