...for those who occasionally have a link in daily_snitch and quickquote.

I assume you e-mail the comm in question with a link...what else do you usually provide? A small description? Your LJ infopage link? privatemaladict, junediamanti, I know you've both been featured...any suggestions?

All we (daily_snitch) need is a link to whatever you want posted and a brief description of what the news item is about. Your LJ user name is optional if the link isn't to your personal LJ.

Can't add to that. I generally email the snitch with details as above. Sometimes I've been featured without mentioning it myself.

I've only once been featured in Quickquotes out of three times of contacting them. And a number of people have commented (adversely) on why they do not appear to feature a great deal of things. So these days, I'd only contact the Snitch (it's the better one, anyway).
