Ah, to be at home, and in my bed, uh, with my notebook

I'm up at my parents. They're both at the casino, along with my sister and her boyfriend.

The show is going okay. There are a lot of other crafters with wares similar to mine, and even though I brought a lot of great crafted items, my crafting supplies are the ones that are selling. So my art (if you can call it that) is just languishing. wah.

Still, I could have done far worse--and I still have tomorrow.

I have written a little bit here and there, some notes for the Giant Scary Fic and a really weird experiment where I took a scene and just kept writing whatever came to mind. When I go to write that scene, I'll just pick and choose the best bits, I guess. I've never really done it that way before--that's how I do the business writing, never the fic stuff.

I'm here alone, and I really want to scribble in the notebook and sleep. Maybe not at the same time. But I've left the notebook in my booth. grah.

On a positive note, I read the flist, so I won't be swamped when I get home on Tuesday, at the very least.

Also, I haven't used the LJ post page in...uh...years, so this is kind of interesting. (I usually use Semagic.)

Well, to be honest, I'm not on much of a route--I've cut back to just a handful or two of shows. I used to do a lot more. :)

But I'll definitely join in that cheer!
