I never get things done on time
So. Because of the extra workload, my brain is fried, I'm so tired I can't even believe I am awake at this moment, and my eyes are killing me from the glasses woe.
Also, I got a charlie horse this morning and my calf still hurts.
Tomorrow morning I leave for a weekend trip up north to see my parents and set up at the little craft show in their town. My car is packed already. I still have to pack my clothes and stuff, but that doesn't take me long.
I'm looking forward to sitting still for two days and scribbling junk in my notebook and talking to nice people and watching a parade. I'm looking forward to spending time with my parents. I miss them so much and I'm a little sad that my day job cut into my time with them. I'll have to try to go visit them later in the year again.
I do wish I had been able to take the last three days to prep for this show instead of having to work and then scramble for a few hours each night to do stuff. I never got any crafting done at all. At least I did sort all of the merchandise and I will have a nice full display of that.
Just to round out the general aura of not-getting-anything-done, I am going to take the next fifteen minutes before bed and waste them entirely by reading bits of my giant story. I am going to drink chai and not think about anything except for happy words.
And then I think I'm going to pass out.
