The "Blood" files are various Word chapter files for tLS...the original title was Blood Magic, but another fic was out there with that name, and it was getting a lot of attention, so I didn't want to confuse anyone. But I left it named Blood Magic on the computer. Cuz I'm lazy like that.

Can you tell I was looking at [livejournal.com profile] shezan's entry? *grin*

That's a very pretty picture! Cool!

And right now you're far closer to the actual location than I am...it's taken from Heron Island.

I actually have never used a photo for my desktop before until yesterday...I put it up there as an experiment...I'll be switching out photos soon, I'm certain.

Oh, pretty!

I switch desktops almost weekly. Our screen saver switches from Toy Story to Pooh (both are animated) for the Coconut's entertainment.

I'm working on my first complicated wallpaper in Photoshop. Umm, it's Spike. Yea. Big surprise there. ~g~

When I owned an Amiga I had some sort of desktop thing in the background. However, whenever the computer would load, it would show the default first, and then load up the changes, which for some reason irritated me, so I stopped using the desktop thing very quickly. Because it took long enough already, and I'd rather have efficiency.

Now, though, I am pleased to see that this computer just loads whatever image it is, and doesn't show a default desktop first, so I'll be changing it happily.

Ooh, Spike and complicated...I hope you'll share him with the rest of us slavering fans...

Nice pic, and great idea...so how do you take a screenshot of your desktop?

Er...oops! The original meme gave directions, but I was too lazy to go find them.

You press the "Print Screen" button. Load up Photoshop or whatever graphics program you use. Start a new file. Press Control-V to paste the desktop there, and modify as necessary.

This is for Windows XP on IBM-comp, of course...

Duh! Of course!
~blushes~
It worked, thanks! :-)
