The Mystery Chicken Foot.

A plastic chicken foot has randomly appeared in my apartment. It showed up yesterday, jauntily perched on the arm of my couch.

I have no idea where it came from.

I've never seen it before.

It's quite unsettling.

It is simply a bright yellow plastic chicken foot with a suction cup attached to it.

The mind boggles.

Chicken foot.

Hey, my lovely British friends, any suggestions about where best to view a section of Hadrian's Wall? My sister is going to England in August. She will be spending a lot of time in London, but she was wondering if there are any hikes you can take along the Wall that might be interesting.

I have a mystery chickens foot, too, I found while cleaning up my desk once. It's yellow, a bit more realistic than yours, and if you move a lever on the back it opens and closes. Creepy, and WHY?

After all, you and I both have mentioned our love of fried chicken in our LJs...perhaps this is Stage 1: Harmless and Odd Chicken Foot Randomly Left in the Living Space.

Stage 5 involves plucking, I'm certain of it.

What bothers me more is that someone actually thought, "Hey, I know! I shall make my fortune by manufacturing plastic chickenfeet with suction cups!"

As for Hadrian's Wall, I know I've been to it but fuck if I know how I got there. I suspect whisky had something to do with it.

If the chicken foot idea was his only chance at making a living, then I have a feeling that the inventor is somewhere under an overpass clutching a bottle in a brown bag.

Heh...I can just imagine someone wandering around drunk at Hadrian's Wall, slurring, "Hey, Hadrian better get some more bricks and fix his wall."

I think that a plastic chicken wandered into your flat and its intentions were not entirely honourable. It was disturbed and in its panic left its foot behind, as you do. It can happen to the best of us. Its learnt an important lesson...'fowl play losses feet.'

As for Hadrian's Wall, I'm sorry but I've never dared venture north of junction 15 of the M1 so I have no idea about the walk.

Having suction cups on the bottom of your detachable feet does seem like a rather large liability. Or maybe he just carries a sack of extra feet with him just in case.

That is quite odd... I had a mystery towel appear on my bath tub once, but nothing as interesting as a chicken foot. Tell me, what exactly is the function of a rubber chicken foot? :-D

I once had an utterly random tiny plastic model of a spaniel show up in my room for no discernable reason.

I think there's somewhere near Newcastle you can go wander about near Hadrian's wall, but my knowledge of Geography is dire, so there may well not be.
