Argh

Friendslist...have whittled down to skip 570 from skip 750.

We are talkative right now, definitely, and I'm so fascinated, and I want to read it all, except...I just got back from WI, and I'm now leaving for my parents' place to do a show in their teeny town, and I'll be gone all weekend, and then when I come back I only have a few days til my next show, and I need to craft items.

I'm missing the formative days after new canon! Waah.

I sympathize with that whole 'I gotta sit down and make product' reality of a crafter's life (said by 'she who keeps looking for excuses not to get upstairs to the workroom and face the quota of cloaks that need to be sewn by the end of the week' ;-) It never ends, does it? The more successful we become, the more product we need to produce...

Oh, why can't we find a good house elf or two? Sigh...

Lucius in a house-elf costume? Need I remind you that those tea-towels wouldn't cover the same amount of territory as they do on a house-elf? Hmmm...or maybe that's WHY you want Lucius in such a costume? ;-)

Gee, who would I have replace Dobby in my house? First that comes to mind is Draco...moaning...sweaty...on his knees...and scrubbing the toilets. (Sorry, but I've always thought that boy needed to learn a little humbleness.)

Interested. What type of crafts do you create? As I'm about as creatively deficient as they come in that department, I always like to know how other people imagine and create beautiful things.

Oh, I can't believe that! Creativity shows up in all kinds of things. To me, just doing nearly anything takes creativity. Even driving a car. It's a mode of thinking. Even a paint-by-numbers requires it.

I'm firmly convinced that just having a LiveJournal shows creativity. :) Anyway, what I do is mostly assembly (in my mind, at least), and I just do what looks attractive, and hope for the best.
