I've spent nearly all day trying to finish catching up with the near 1,000 skip I found on my return to the flist.

Nearly all day, honest. And I'm still at skip 120. Whew! New canon will do that, I guess.

Oh yeah, LJ has been running on overdrive since the new HP canon came out. I check my flist each day, except for weekends, and can hardly keep up with all the posts.

Yes, and not only are the regulars on the flist talking enthusiastically, but there's also that new influx of people on normally quiet comms saying "Hi! Wow! This book is great! I'm new to the community, friend me!"
