The show, final thoughts.

Had this thing happen that I won't go into because it's rather boring, but I ended up chasing down someone at the show to apologize. Later I realized it was quite unnecessary. Oh well. I hope the world spins smoother because of it.

It was a good show! I was happy with it. Happy happy happy. Everything went well, had great neighbors on one side that were totally amazing. (On the right side...women who wanted to suggest things for me, which doesn't go over well. After ten years I would hope that I'd know how to display things.)

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] eloisasnape inspired me to do a handwritten entry, which I worked up while I was at the show (and kept embellishing).

Handwritten entry, oh yeah

I'm afraid that all you can make out is "My phone broke! Wah!"

Hardly earth-shattering. But there you go.

Now I've got all sorts of questions on my mind, like: Five? Why five? Why a number? Why secret?

Erm, I'm giving it too much thought. I like your handwriting. :) Awww, and your high school sketch.

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Hee! I just thought it looked like I was writing a high school note, and I came up with "gossip" about everyone.

No further thought than that. ;)

OMG! I had a mullet when I was in high school, too! Everyone thought I was a dyke, but I didn't know that until later. No wonder I couldn't get a date for the prom.

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
I only had it for one year, and it was a little more styled than a mullet, but it still was, in essence, a mullet. It looked really, really cute though.

[identity profile] aramintasnape.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
That's brilliant! I love your handwriting and all the little doodles. I can see my name in the top right-hand corner, but can't work out what the word following it is - please enlighten!!

I would love to do a handwritten entry but I hate my writing. It's messy and childish and just weird!

[identity profile] aramintasnape.livejournal.com 2005-08-08 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL! I thought it said 'flowers' or something, so I wasn't that far off!

[identity profile] agatha-s.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 11:02 am (UTC)(link)
This is a lovely idea. I am so stealing it!

And how do you always manage to see signs that sound Harrypotterish somewhere? True, there is a place in my town where a CD shop called "Sirius" is very near a shop called "Wizard", but it still isn't the same thing.

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess I'm just lucky! :)

Wasn't this a great idea? [livejournal.com profile] eloisasnape rocks.

[identity profile] whitemunin.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Very cute. So you had a mullet in high school? I remember when they were fashionable for the girls as well. Weren't they called bi-levels or something like that?

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
It looked so cute, but I just don't think it's possible to have one any longer. Though you never know...it might come back in style. Anyway, I haven't had a serious haircut since until recently, and my hair is the anti-mullet now...long & spiral-permed.

[identity profile] aphrodeia.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
YAY GIRL MULLET!

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Obviously the mullet bit was a hit! Funny, I threw that on at the last moment.

[identity profile] gillieweed.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
You would so never be able to read a handwritten entry of mine.

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Aw, but we'd like to look!

[identity profile] gillieweed.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
That's what they all say!

[identity profile] absurdwords.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 06:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I can read it. You have lovely handwriting.

My aunt also used to have a mullet.

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Aw, thanks! :) Mullets were all the rage for a little while.

[identity profile] privatemaladict.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I used to have an accidental mullet. I'd cut my hair really short, which was fine - but the back seemed to grow faster than the front, so it gradually turned into a mullet without me noticing.

[identity profile] privatemaladict.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh totally cool. It's true I can't make out much without effort, and in my head-full-of-snot cutrrent state of health, making an effort gives me a headache. So I'll just say it looks cool and I love all the little drawings!

I miss fanon Snape too. I mean, he's still an interesting character... but I liked him better when I thought there was something heroic about him. Mind you, I still don't think he's EsE, but he's no tragic hero, either.

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-07 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
It says "[livejournal.com profile] privatemaladict dislikes cane toads". Rather silly, but there you are!

I keep fanon!Snape in a little compartment in my head and take him out occasionally and sigh.

[identity profile] cactus-wren.livejournal.com 2005-08-14 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey, that's a really cute idea! And you have great handwriting, too.

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2005-08-15 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it was eloisa's idea, but thank you about the handwriting! This was a bit sloppy for me, but I was hot and tired and kept getting interrupted. :)
