Just some random stuff, plus a bit of eye stuff, so if you're really, really squeamish...skip.
I've been wondering if I should tag entries. But then I thought, they would all end up with the same "whining" tag, and that would defeat the purpose.

I am so far behind in writing that it's really starting to get to me.

Bought a new videogame and, after playing for a short while, realized that something has happened to me about videogames. I used to work at a store where we rented video games, and I was so obsessed for so long, but now...I don't know what's going on. The game is called Katamari Damacy and it is truly a fun, addictive, absolutely surreal game, and I know that I should love it, but somehow I'm already bored with it and don't want to play it any longer. After only a half hour. I need to get Xenosaga II, but if I do, you will not see me for two months.

EBay is deranged. I spent all of this time taking three hundred pictures (unique pics of each lot, argh), labelling nearly ninety lots of merchandise, and carefully coding and putting up several for auction, and nearly nothing. Yet something else, with horrible pictures that I just keep relisting over and over again, sold for more than expected. Much more.
Now I'm frightened that these people will realize that I keep auctioning off the same thing over and over again, and they'll realize they just paid ten times its value, and they'll come after me with virtual pitchforks and I'll have to hide in a virtual windmill and they'll set virtual fire to it and...wah.

The eyelid is recovering beautifully. The weird feeling-faint stuff is slowly starting to recede, thought it is still striking occasionally. I ended up pulling three bits of stitch thread out with tweezers, though, and that wasn't altogether pleasant. Now if I could just get the eyelid to close properly...that will be a problem for a few weeks still, but only a problem at night, when I am trying to get to sleep.
So I'm pretty happy. It's all nearly over.

Good to hear about your eyelid.
and I know that I should love it, but somehow I'm already bored with it and don't want to play it any longer.
