Unbelievably lush. Looks like paradise to me. I've never been ..hope to someday soon. Lucky you!

Some parts are lush, some parts are arid, some parts are very much pastureland...just an incredible experience, overall. I can't wait to post a write up of the trip...today, though, I'm still just kind of zoning out. Heh.

The hotel looks very elegant. And I simply love the second picture with the windswept palm tree and the misty mountains.

The hotel was wonderful.

I'm so glad you like the palm tree one! I almost didn't add it here because I wasn't sure it was interesting enough, even though I like it a lot. There are two volcanoes on Maui, and this is one of them.
