Squee!!

New art for the Last Sanguimagus, by the incredibly talented [livejournal.com profile] sigune!

Please forgive the size discrepancy...it's my own fault, I'm in a hurry.

Damn, I love these.

I love Sigune's art!

I read that chapter, btw! I will be reading the entire thing at some point. Thanks for not making Pansy a ditz.

Oh, wow! That's awesome that you read it, and I'm glad you approved of non-ditzy Pansy! :)

Those are beautiful. Their faces are fabulous, so grim and intense and lovely in their own sharp ways. And the brilliant touches of green and red, the perfect contrasts. Also, no one draws flowing drapery and sleek!Snape like Sigune.

Some damn fine art you have for your fic. :)

I'm adoring this. I love how each new artist brings something different to their drawings, something unique, something fascinating.

Severus looks rather cynical and mistrusting here, at least to me, and I adore that. He looks keenly intelligent and quite ready to hex the next person who crosses his path. I'm totally in love with these!

As a sweeping declaration of Snapitude, that's spot-on. One assumes this is his default expression.

I adore him here. The more I look, the more I like. And as this is his default attitude in tLS, it really works very well, I think! ;)

thanks for sharing it with us.

My love for [livejournal.com profile] sigune grows with each piece she does! These are stunning. That is exactly how I pictured Sarah in my mind. What lovely lines in her robes as well!

I love Snape's expression and stance, as well as the bottles around him in the decorative elements. This is super-squeeable art, and the perfect compliment to your fic.

I'm so happy about these! I had the idea in my head some time ago, and put it on the backburner, but when Sigune mentioned that she could do commissions, I nearly jumped out of my chair. ;)

I have to admit, you have some of the best commisioned art I've ever seen. The artists are liek woah talented, and really seem to grasp the atmosphere of tLS and convey it through their art... and still keep their own styles!

Perhaps part of the squeefulness is having read the fic and knowing these characters- it's so exciting to see them as well. Almost like having a movie made of your favorite book, but without all that disappointment that never fails to happen. Yay!

*squees*

Yes, totally!

I have two more thoughts stuck in my head, about [livejournal.com profile] celestialsoda doing a closeup, or of [livejournal.com profile] glockgal or soda doing an illustration of a dream sequence (that hasn't happened yet, btw).

Ooooh, I know they would do awesome work!

*still bouncing from enthusiasm from your last chapters*

This is... just wow. Can I have a Snape Tarot card set, please?

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2007-02-19 09:40 pm (UTC)(link)
haha! I'd like one too, wow!

Those are lovely!

And I must catch up with your story - I've got so behind. *sigh*

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2007-02-19 09:41 pm (UTC)(link)
;) I can't believe you have any time at all to do much of everything, after chasing after two cuties and working! *hugs*

Oh, my goodness - I think these are officially my favourite Sigune-works ever! I love the blue wisp of smoke; I love the crinkled robes. SqueeEEEeeeEEEeee!

[identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com 2007-02-20 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
I'm totally dying over how cool they are! He's so awesome, and he really embodies the characterization I've tried to write, I think. I am so geeked!

The artwork is beautiful; I like the Art Nouveau feel to it.
Another big squid in the news--

(This time a colossal squid, not a giant squid. Guess there's a difference.)

I adore the Art Nouveau style; I knew Sigune would do an amazing job with it!

And [livejournal.com profile] gillieweed told me of the Colossal Squid...I am overjoyed! Finally we shall have our glory!

Somewhat of topic, but these are hillarious...

I rather like "Bothering Snape"

;) Ah, yes, the Potter Puppet Pals. They are classic!
