Damned new TVs.

I am attempting to hook up an Odyssey 2 video game system to see if it works, but of course both of my TVs are lacking antenna feeds. So I used a little adapter I have that translates it to a cable end, and I still couldn't get anything but a black screen and static noise.

Finally, in desperation, I went to hook up the Atari 2600 to see if the game-TV adapter even works. After having to find an appropriate power cord, an Atari game, and the Atari itself, I finally managed to get Breakout on the TV, but the adapter is definitely not well because moving it even slightly causes problems; something must be loose. Well, it is twenty years old, I suppose.

Now I must try Radio Shack to see if they carry obsolete video game adapters.

I'm going to be really angry if this stupid system doesn't work; it means that whoever sold it to me in 1991 wasn't truly honest.

Yeah, it's taken me this long to get around to hooking it up to find out.

It was actually a mom who sold it to me, and I'm surprised. Perhaps she didn't know.

oh, yes! I do. I nearly bought a new phone while I was buying an adapter at Radio Shack.

I picked up another box today from Radio Shack. I am actually just about to hook it up.

I'm only testing it so that I can sell it, though. ;)
