and more grah
The woman who wanted the refund?
Just now emailed me...because she realized that the second item she wanted a refund for? The one I couldn't figure out what it was?
Was not something she ordered from me.
So I took off something she did order and gave her a refund for it. It was the closest thing to it and the same price. grah.
I give up. I'm going to bed. I'm tired and cranky as hell.

I wouldn't offer to do another special ship for her. Just see if she complains first before emailing her again. Perhaps she'll place another order in the future.

Especially if your items cost in the range of normal postage, she'll be tempted to keep it rather than make a fuss about it.
Sorry for the crappy customers. Sleep well!

It's a good idea, though. And my items are cheap. But this is a huge order, and I'd have to actually transfer money into my Paypal account in order to refund it to her, lol. :)

If it were me I couldn't even refund through paypal. I have a free account that can handle invoices only and not receive money, neither from my account nor from anyone else's. Oh well.

Dunno if this would cheer you up or not, but if you want to read about customers even WTFier than yours, check out:

It'll either make you laugh or cringe in fear that some of these asshats will come visit your store. O_o

And thanks for the link! I've seen it before, but it's been ages, and it's always good for a laugh.
