valis2Just got back from the post office. I swear, I am the worst when it comes to estimating international shipping. The package to England was more than expected, and I had to dash out to the car to get change, which I haven't had to do in ages. hee!

I'm 90% happy with my eBay work so far.
The 10% I don't care for? "Where is my package?!" Y'know, there are such things as holidays and weekends which sometimes delay shipping by a day, two, or three. "The shipping is too high!" Er, I charged you $5, and it cost $4.15 to be sent Priority Mail in a nice little box. And that's exactly what was advertised. Don't blame me because you didn't read the shipping notes. Wah. Most people are decidedly sane, and most transactions are quick and to the point, which I love. But the few that are pains...argh!

Last year I did, and...no new friends from it.
This year, I took one look at my flist and thought, holy cow, I'm at 143 friends, and 134 friends-of. So I don't really want to increase my flist by much, honest, and I would feel awful if I had put something up and then not friended people back. So I'm staying put at this level for a little while, at least. Or at least I say this, and then find one more person to add. Yes, I am nearly entirely mad. Hence the Lone Sane Thought.
But I do feel this strange desire to write an introduction post. ha!

Date: 2005-10-29 12:56 am (UTC)Well, it's nice that they think so. But so many people add things that I can't charge that amount, or it gets beyond first class because of the weight, I think. Anyway, they get exactly what is advertised, and I get an extra $0.85 for my troubles. ;)
I'm pretty fast with the shipping in general, too. I ship twice (sometimes three times!) a week.
