Seriously, I am the worst evah at writing summaries for my own stuff. Any suggestions, thoughts, anything would be appreciated.

And yes, I'm 3/4 done with the new chapter, and I've remembered that one thing that really needs to be in the chapter, so I can finish it finally, most likely tomorrow.

I have been really worried for some time about fanfictionnet; you're always just one complaint away from being pulled. So I want at least one place where I can just upload, you know, without waiting, or worrying...one place where I can just announce that it on the mailing list/personal LJ immediately, as soon as the "ink" has dried. ;)

You might mention that the romance is between Snape and the OFC. It's not clear because you mention Harry in there. (or I'm misreading - am tired. : )

I would also talk a bit about the new kind of magic, that the thing is plotty as well as being a romance.

I'm excited about the coming update. You know something, I almost never reread but I have this sudden urge to reread tLS. : )

Aha! Excellent suggestions, all of them! Hooray!

The funny thing is, I was really thinking that the next chapter was going to be kind of a "throwaway" chapter, you know, the usual background, plotty thing.

But I find that I think I'm very nearly done with background muck. Sarah's story really "cleared the air", in a way, and I find that I can move a bit more freely. I'm having a lot of fun with it, and I really hope to work on it a lot tomorrow, now that I have finally finished the EBAY OF DOOM stuff.

Oooh, you're tempted to reread? How lovely! I've been slooooowly cleaning up the older chapters, fixing a few canon errors, changing a few things in light of HBP, and, in general, toning down a few characters who were apparently not coming off well to many readers. I have the first twenty chapters done, and I plan on doing the next twenty in the next couple weeks. However, I want to get a new chapter finished and uploaded before I do anything else.

Any comments you have...feel free to review, drop me an email, etc. Anything that can improve my writing is dearly cherished, believe me. :) I need all the help I can get!

Whoa, red. Which is appropriate, of course, but...red. Anyway, people will mostly be reading it through their own templates.

(I'm highly prejudiced against red because in the 4th grade I owned nothing but red socks.)

It's so weird. The red turned me off at first, so I changed from the "so red" template to the "so black" template.

Yeah, there's just a little bit of black, it doesn't make sense to me either, but by that point I was sick of looking at template samples, and I just left it like that.

So you don't think the reviews are overkill? I'm cringing a little, because I feel like they're...just...too much or something, but honestly, I should really just learn to let go and let it be, I suppose.

Actually, my only comment would be that it's way to long. Shorter summary, shorter comments. When I was writing search engine fill, they advised us that on the internet people don't read more than a couple of sentences per paragraph, and then start to skim. Short paragraphs are key to keeping the reader.
