So much to do. Leaving tomorrow for WI, and look what I've accomplished...nearly nothing.

I pulled nearly everything out of my car, which is good.

I crafted an item owed to a person in WI, but I don't think it's right, so now I have to make another one.

I need to craft lots of things for a show in Sept...haven't made anything.

Needed to sort a little bit more of the lot I purchased...started but unfinished, meaning I'll have to clean it up before I go, ugh.

Wrote the first two hundred words of the next chapter...need to write eight hundred more so that I can submit it before I leave.

Need to call accounts for my sales rep work today...at least fourteen...haven't called a one. And don't have much time before five. Must do as soon as I finish entry.

Must pack. Have packed nothing.

Must finish laundry...about 2/3rds done.

Must write out some checks to pay for goods and services.

Well, enough of that boring blather.

Good thing is, today is my birthday (I actually forgot until I saw [livejournal.com profile] mortifyd's entry that it was his birthday today too) and I'm going to see a movie of my choice...Hero! With Jet Li. Just seems like a lot of fun. Plus, I just noticed that the Holy One, Robert Ebert, has given it 3 1/2 stars, so I am now even more convinced that the Universe Occasionally Likes Me. A good popcorn movie released on my birthday is nothing to sneeze about.

Bleh. One of the oddest birthdays I've ever had. Didn't see any member of my family. (They're out of town...we're celebrating later on.)

Hero was quite wonderful. (For a popcorn movie, I hasten to add.) I am a big sucker for melodrama. I love melodrama! Bring it on! And this movie certainly satisfied that melodrama tooth. Many of the characters were afflicted with Single Tear Syndrome. It did move into the realm of too melodramatic, to be sure, but it was still lots of fun. The use of color and sets in this film was marvelous. Simply beautiful!! Incredible. I did enjoy it quite a bit.

Still have to pack, craft an item, and have a late night glass of Rooibos Chai (chai based on red tea, no caffeine y'see) with my favorite soymilk, 8th Continent.

I would love to finish that chapter I started. I really, really would. I just don't think I'll have time.

But it has my brain in its claws, and wants to get out...oh, maybe I'll just look at it a little.

Big thunderstorm outside. Perhaps I should turn off the computer.

Happy to everyone.
