The saga of Prince Polo.
Feb. 20th, 2005 12:43 pmMy friends and I were at a Russian food import store and purchased a box of King Polo (a Polish chocolatey snack) just before we left for AZ last year. It turned out to be so tasty that we ate nearly the entire box before we got to AZ.
So this year they went back to purchase more, but they didn't have any. Instead they had Prince Polo. So they bought two boxes.
We still have almost the entire two boxes left. Needless to say this Prince is a pretender to the throne. I don't even think he's Polish.
They gave the boxes to me, as I have a friend who will eat nearly anything if it's chocolate, and even he won't eat them.
I've decided to take them into work, as we have a Polish guy on the night cleaning crew, and any candy on my desk mysteriously disappears before morning.
Either he loves Prince Polo, or he will think I'm trying to poison him and he'll never empty my trash again.
