The show on Saturday, which was to be my crowning jewel, was a disappointment. I did barely half of what I did there last year. There was some festival going on at the same time and it probably scared away the customers.

I have two modes of thinking that I inherited from my parents--Doom and Insanity. It's not a great mix, let me tell you. The Doom side of my brain says all sorts of awful things all the time, because it looks into the future and only sees doom. The Insanity portion of my brain gets tremendously antsy and hyperactive and exacerbates the Doom portents. Right now I'm fighting off both with a stick. Let's see how long I can.

The money situation is not improving, and knowing that I didn't commit to enough shows is making me really freak out bigtime. I mean, you can't really rely upon a show--you never know what will happen, after all--but still, I was hoping for a repeat of last year. I'm stressed and starting to get that panicky feeling.

I am actually seeing some results with the website. Thank goodness Website Friend is really coming through. Though I'm not pinning a lot of hope on the website, it would be nice to have a few orders through it. Once I have it up, I'm going to send out a mailing to my business mailing list, and hope that a few people check it out.

I think I'm going to go visit my grandmother again. I also should pick up a portable clothes rack and a set of drapes--I'm trying to create a simple backdrop for taking pictures of clothing. I have tons of nice clothing for eBay and this is definitely eBay season, so I need to get started.

One flash of happiness--I have finally managed to get the Greasemonkey Thread Unfolder extension to work. Huzzah!

I need an emo!valis icon.

I'm cleaning up, and doing my usual donation stuff, but as I looked at some items I thought--maybe the flist would be interested. So, just like my used book giveaway, I present you with these items, free for the taking.

Also, I wanted to test my new clothing-picture-taking-rig.

Rules? I don't mind if you take more than one thing. I'd like it to be first claimed, first served. I don't know how quickly I'll be able to mail them out, but it shouldn't be more than one-two weeks for most things. If you are not a US resident, please let me know which country you are in--I apologize in advance, but some countries are more troublesome (and costly) than others to ship to, and I reserve the right to deny the request. Please, flisters only. And the big one? I MUST GET YOUR ADDRESS IN ORDER TO SHIP THEM TO YOU. SRSLY. (Please email it to me. ETA: Please don't leave your email FOR me, please email your address to me. I know that sounds all spoiled and stuff, but if I'm going through the hassle and expense of boxing and shipping the item(s), then I would hope that you could go to my profile and find my email address and email me your address. /ranty mcranterson) I know that sounds rilly rilly basic, but I've had this happen before and I really don't feel like sending numerous emails asking for the address and never getting a reply and just sitting there with this stuff, waiting to send it out.

What's under the cut? Several images. Crow t-shirt, Sarah McLachlan t-shirt, Aeon Flux t-shirt, bric-a-brac, chocolate, Korn album, Italian magnetic poetry set, and more.
ALL CLAIMED, HOORAY!!
