Y'know, when I was posting my LJ entries to IJ recently I noticed that I title a lot of them "blergh" or "argh."
I'm kind of back and forth right now with my mood--it's amazing that we have a house, yes, but the packing is just not going fast enough. I'm sucked into writing and other stuff, like watching
catyah's Riptide vid set to Jolene, as performed by the White Stripes at least twice a day. I keep thinking how cool it is that this version of the song kept the original pronouns intact even though a guy is singing it. Intriguing and it makes for a cool vid.
Anyway, I need to go meet up with the wood floor guy and unload some boxes and then really try to make some headway with packing there--I have to pull everything out of a hutch so it can be moved away from a wall. I've managed to empty the lower part, but the upper part is full of fiddly china and I have to employ some bubble wrap. That's the problem with this move. Normally you have to pack your stuff and move your stuff. I have to do that, plus pack the stuff that was left at the house--my original plan of just having the Salvation Army stop by will not be happening. The worst part of this is that the only thing I really want to do at the moment is finish yet another blasted Riptide story. *headdesk* Grah. Just grah.
Also, eBay customer claims she has not received an item. Grrr. I hate this. I can't find the receipt for shipping it, either. Damn.
