It is snowing here. I'm drinking chai and looking askance at my looong list of things to do today, which involves scanning and prepping pics for Etsy, laundry, sorting through the megapile of bills and figuring it all out, getting the eBay packages together to ship, doing my MI sales tax stuff, etc.
Husband just called. He said the snow is bad and I shouldn't drive, and he'll go to the post office for me tomorrow. squee!
I just realized that the reason I'm freezing is because I forgot to turn the thermostat program off and it was stepping down to a cooler temperature for the day. *shivers* Fixed.
I want to write. Oh, how I want to write. I'm 24,500 words into a Riptide story. I wrote it while in WI. I had an hour in the morning and a couple hours at night, and for about two weeks I managed to get some words in, and I'm so excited to finish it. It's future!fic and it's a little unusual for me--the main couple has been together in the story, but broken up before the story starts. I've never written anything like that. I hope it works and that it's believable. Really, it should be part of the Gratuitous Nick H/C Series, but there's just too much plot.
Okay, off to throw some clothes in the washer. *jumps into the fray*
