Another weekend

...but one spent at home! Hooray!

So I've been pretty productive, astonishingly enough. I've prepped the merchandise for shows, and I've listed all sorts of new merch on eBay, and I've restocked the store merchandise (and then had ten items sell, so had to restock it again, hooray!). Now I just need to make signs.

And I realized that there's this fic I've been wanting to write, it's not that long, but I've wanted to write it ever since I dreamed it two years ago (one of only two HP dreams I've ever had), and I think it will be absolutely perfect for the dark!Snupin challenge I signed up for. It does not exactly fit the prompt I was given, but I think it will work anyway. It's very vivid in my mind and I can't wait to write it. I'm just going to bluff my way through the British suburb part of it (though, if I'm really lucky, I can get rickfan37 to give me some pointers about British living...).

Also, am working on the Fandom Project That I Decided To Do Even Though No One Asked, and it's coming along fairly well, 3000 words so far. I think 10K total will finish it off (well, I just don't want to have to split it up into separate entries, I guess).

So far, so good. Eventually I'll succumb to internet overload and start accomplishing nothing again, but at least for now I feel on top of things.

Ah, I usually don't mention specifically what I sell on my LJ, mostly because giving away what I do means people can guess what other friends of mine do, and that could cause issues; I like to respect their privacy.

Aw, that's so sweet! Thanks so much for the offer, however, crossing Customs with merchandise is a very involved sort of situation, and one I'm not prepared to embark on at this time.

Hee! It isn't as exciting for people who are here on LJ already, though. :( But I should be done with it in a week or so. At least, I hope!

What I'm really chuffed about is writing this dark!Snupin story. I'm totally flying on kites about it. Which is funny, because it's dark and miserable. ha!

Oh, you're writing dark!snupin! Yay! I can't wait to see what you come up with. I don't think adhering to the prompt is as important as just writing something good. I haven't checked back to see if anyone else took any new prompts. Part of me kinda twitches at wanting another prompt, but I don't have time to do it, really, and I just did a whole spate of dark!fic, so I'll just wait and devour what everyone else puts up.

If you dreamed about this 2 years ago and the images stuck with you, they must be pretty powerful. *sits down to wait patiently* ;-)

I have never wanted to write a story this badly, I think. I've been thinking about it for months. That dream was so vivid, and the feelings so overwhelming, that it's just sort of sat in the back of my brain, biding its time.

Even I want to read it at this point! *laughs* I hope to start working on this during the week. It won't be long, which is the good part, thankfully. And it will be pre-slash at best. But I think it might be one of the darkest, rawest stories I can write.

That Shacklebolt/Snape story you just wrote? Holy cow. Not only were you right about kinky, but it was damned intense, btw!

I think pre-slash is fine, I just get really excited when people have particularly strong visions for their stories. I'm into "vivid". :-)

Heh. Well, hopefully kinky and intense is a good thing. ;-) The KS/SS actually started out as Snarry but was gonna be too long and emotional, so I sent Kingsley in as a pinch-hitter. It's easy to get caught up in the emotional backstory with Snack and Snupin and Snarry, so it's nice to have a character to call on when you just need a vehicle for raw smut. *grin*
