Snape robe up for grabs

I went to a costume shop this week, attempting to find things for my Prophecy costume. It's been a challenge, let me tell you.

Anyway, I think the owner is trying to sell her store. She's also having a huge "garage sale" to get rid of a lot of extra stuff.

I nearly died when I found some sort of black religious? academic? robe that screams "Snape." Seriously. It was only $8, so I picked it up.

Of course, I have no intention of dressing as Snape...er...ever. So anyone who wants it, let's talk. ETA: Taken! Pics are under the cut.

I've borrowed a plus-size dressmaker's dummy, so that's what I've displayed it on.

The yellow square thing in the front is the tag.

The sleeves are hellaciously long. I warn you, it will need some tailoring!

OMG. Are the sleeves sort of oddly shaped at the bottom? Because if they are, it's a genuine master's degree robe. I am *definitely* interested! kittencat3@charter.net

Yes, they're very strangely shaped!
