Of course, it's related to eBay/Turbo Lister. I've spent two days preparing listings for video games and video game systems (taking multiple photos, working out all of the accessories/plugs for each system, etc.), and I went to upload them earlier today, and they're coming up with some sort of API error based on pictures. 35 out of 40 listings have this error.
The error-listings are listings with prefilled information where I selected not to use eBay's readymade photos; I clicked the option against it, and slowly but surely each listing became weirder and weirder. Most of them now have the same photo because I can't switch or delete anything. I can add photos, but it usually ends up being the same photo as before. I can't even go in and delete all of the photos. I gave up and finished the listings anyway, because I figured I'd just go in and manually switch them all to the same photo after they were uploaded.
Unfortunately, the API error occurs instead. Even weirder--it seems to be related to "PictureURL[2]," which makes me scream because a) none of the listings have a second photo, and b) I wasn't using URLs for any of them--it's all straight from the hard drive.
So I either redo it all, WITHOUT prefilled information (let me think--NO), or I try to mess with it and get it to work, or I just hope that a miracle happens.
Screw this. I'm going to play more Battle for Middle Earth. Have I mentioned how very much I hate Turbo Lister?
ETA: I had to go through each listing, change the little bastards to "URL image hosting," then change it back to "eBay picture hosting" in order to wipe out what must have been "phantom" pics. And then reinsert the pics. Multiple editing wouldn't work, of course. *grumbles and growls*
ETA ETA: All done. That took way too long. And now I'll get stupid questions all week. Questions like, "Is the Intellivision a new system?!! Where can I buy games for it?" and "What's a Dreamcast?" (only misspelled, of course.) Ugh. I'm not looking forward to this. Don't even get me started on how to explain what the hell a Turbografx is.
