Send me your extra hours, plz
Jul. 24th, 2008 12:26 pmI am rushing around, trying to get packed for the weekend with the parental units. Because I am doing a show there, it's meant extra work crafting, and gathering things for the show (tent, covers, tables, etc). I'm just about to load the car.
I hate thinking about my list of Things Wot Need To Be Done. I cringe every time I look in its general direction. I even decided to not list clothing this week on eBay in order to save myself five hours of work, but that didn't really help enough.
I've been trying to be good and not procrastinate so much, but I keep finding things which sap my time and aren't really doing anything worthwhile. Thank goodness I have printed out oodles of Snape/Mary Sue stuff to go over so that when I am at my parents' place I can read a little and work more on my outline for the presentation. I've had a couple brain blossoms about the presentation, too. And I'm bringing my costume so I can work on it.
I am finally (just now) caught up with the flist--just in time to run away again. I am definitely going to come home Monday morning instead of Tuesday because I am so panicked about getting things done.
I knew this summer was going to grab me by the neck and not let go. And I still have another month left on the treadmill.
(Psst: I will call you this weekend,
gmonkey42!)
See you Monday, y'all.
