I love to work with dreams and allow my dreams to send me answers when I can't find any in the light of day.
My dreams rarely accommodate me in my hope for something escapist, so this was a shock. In fact, they usually don't solve things for me--they commonly take the form of control issues, heh.
But sometimes I have fantasy-style dreams. When I was a teenager, that's all I used to dream. In fact, I'd wake up in the morning and not know who I was or what the beeping (alarm clock) was about, because I was so strongly someone else.
Hermione has a strange way of working things out, and I actually can see her coming up with ways to justify what she's doing.
I really looked at her motivations and thought, this will seem like crack to most, but then I thought, hmm, there is something Hermione-like about this. And so I put it out there just in case someone else would like it. I'm so glad you gave it a try! Thank you for the awesome comment!
