I am like a moth, flitting about from thing to thing without any real notion of what I should be doing.

There are far too many things I should be doing right now, and that is shorting out my prioritizer. Two giant tasks have the same need-to-be-done value, and therefore I have shut down and cannot do either. grah.

(At least I have picked up the Giant Riptide Fic again (the second of these; my goodness, I certainly get wordy sometimes). I reread it all over the weekend and just started writing right where I left off. Thank goodness! I've added 1700 words.)

The stuff that needs to be done--I really need to do it. But it's like I'm paralyzed. The good thing is, after I post this, I'm likely to pick up one or the other of the two giant tasks and start on it. I hope.

I know that paralysed feeling: too much to do so I can't do any of it, so I'll just faff about and not do anything instead. It's a terrible cycle. I hope you manage to break it soon. :-)

I understand the feeling. I get like this when things in my environment need to be cleaned or organized, and just with any old thing. That is why I was so happy to get my bathroom junk cleaned out last weekend. Now I need to work on the office things.

I really struck such an impasse last night. Which sucks, because the whole thing about eBay is that I need to keep up with it and restock it. I get nervous that I haven't kept up with it, and then I panic, and then I procrastinate, and it all ends up in a weird cycle. wah!

And go you! I hope you tackle your office soon.

Aw, I definitely can relate to the flitty feeling. Try not to think of it as a giant task, maybe that will un-paralyze your brain.

Yay for the resumption of the Giant Riptide fic!!

Me too. The office really needs to get done.

I totally understand where you are coming from. It's not fun.

The problem is multiplied by the fact that there are two giant tasks. :( If there were just one, I might have been able to start it far easier! Phooey.

And yes, YAY! I am loving this fic so much more than I should. *grins*
