Five ways in which you know a fan fic was written by me:
1. H/C. The kind of h/c where there is no permanent damage, and lots of snuggling.
2. There is a general tone of angst. Even in a humorous fic, there will be a little bittersweet moment or two.
3. Small things mentioned in the beginning of the story will be picked up and mentioned again later, unexpectedly. And it won't be the gun over the mantel like it should be; it'll be the enchilada in the microwave that someone forgot about.
4. In long romantic first-time fics, it will take pages and pages and pages and pages before anyone so much as even thinks about kissing.
5. In long fics, there will be OCs that I will get waaay too absorbed in.
