Thank you! That is very appreciated.

Thank you !

I spent mine with my LJ friend [livejournal.com profile] verlindahenning who flew in to see me all the way from Memphis, eating cream teas, walking around rural England, then eating some more.

Thank you, sweetie! I received a lovely card from the Coconut and a dvd of the Robert Altman film MASH (which I adore - 1970's Eliot Gould, you know ~g~). Then we all went out to the in-laws for lunch and playing on their vast 400+ acres of pecan farm. Lovely day in all. After the Coconut went to bed, Conn and I watched Meet the Fockers and had some nasty monkey sex. Who would have thought wearing fishnet hose with no panties would excite him so? ~g~

::hugs to you::

I've been playing SNES Zelda: A Link to the Past and thinking of you. ~g~

Thanks!
For some reason, though (and probably to do with Hallmark Cards), in the UK Mother's Day is always in March. I do remember, though, that it was a good one! It coincided with El's birthday this year.

I absolutely adore M*A*S*H!! I wrote a paper on it for a film class. It is one of my favorite films ever!

Ha!! Who couldn't resist nasty monkey sex? Bwa hahahah...

I have to finish Ocarina at some point. I only have the last dungeon left, honestly, and I really want to play Wind Waker! Link to the Past was such a fun game, now you make me want to pull it out again...gotta love throwing those pots...

Oh, that's right! Because I nearly had a heart attack when you were talking about it...I thought I was a horrible daughter who had forgotten Mother's Day...when really it was still coming up. ;)

A pot of tea (in a china cup and saucer or it doesn't taste as good) A homemade scone smothered in strawberry jam and thick devon clotted cream.

Its the dogs bollocks..yum!

I didn't know it was Mothers Day until my American friend told me, but I joined in the spirit of things and celebrated again.(We have ours in March)

I love clotted cream! I try to make it when I can, but unfortunately almost all the stores stock ultra pasteurized cream, and you can't make clotted cream from that. :(

Thanks! It wasn't actually Mother's Day in France - it's coming up in a couple of weeks (must check date so that hubby doesn't forget his mum). But I had a nice day anyway ;) And in the UK, it's in March. I have to try and remember that, so that I send my mum something at the right time!

(sings) I know how to make cannoli...

It's a royal pain in the butt, but so worth it.
