I'm tempted to do this meme, except which pile of books would I take a picture of? The huge one on my nightstand in the bedroom? Or the large pile by the loveseat in the bedroom? Or the big pile that has spilled off the bookshelf/tv stand in the bedroom? Then there's the montrous pile stacked up here next to the desk. There must be twenty-five books easily in that one, I'm not even sure what all of them are anymore. I just know I've read all but a few of them.
The whole book situation is getting a bit ridiculous already. I know hubby is getting snarkity over it. *shakes head* I think I just need a room to be my library. If I could just toss mother-in-law out the door, I could use one of her rooms. It would be wonderful, my own room, shelf-lined, full of books, with my sewing machine and my tv and my treadmill.... *gets all glassy-eyed*
Oops, sorry, probably shouldn't be daydreaming and spamming up your journal like that.

Oh, I totally understand! I actually have at least three other stacks elsewhere, but in the interest of not driving people crazy, I didn't take pics of those.

At this point I have three six foot tall bookshelves and two four foot tall bookshelves filled, plus boxes in the closet, and books in stacks as well. Plus a huge four foot tall stack of mags, as well as other stacks of mags.

Daydream away! Quite entertaining. :)

I want a room too. Wah!

Ed Emberley, squeee! He was one of my favorite artist/authors when younger. I can make a mouse out of my fingerprint and all kinds of other things.

This is a big collection...it has the fingerprint stuff, and the lineart stuff I remember. I keep meaning to make a few HP-themed Ed Emberley drawings (that's why I bought it).
