Oct. 13th, 2005 09:06 pmSo I stole it from
pen_and_umbra.

From top down:
Secret Life of Bees, borrowed from friend, am 50 pages in, really need to finish
Celtic Myths book (sister brought from England)
HP SS, heh
Another Celtic Myth book from sis
Ed Emberley book, oh how I love him, used to have his books when I was growing up
VideoHound's Golden Movie Retriever, invaluable resource for movies
Us mag
tLS, hee!
Italian without the Fuss
Memory book from
blumsmile
DreamWeaver by Jane Yolen
Brothers Grimm Annotated by Maria Tatar (mentioned in Neil Gaiman's blog)
Absolutely friggin' awesome Random House Huge Book of American Slang, volume A-H. The next two volumes are completely unavailable. I wonder if the third one ever made it into print. I'll be putting a few fun slang words into an entry soon.
Several Poets & Writers mags
Right hand stack: You can see how behind I am on TV Guide, and another HP book, surprise surprise

Date: 2005-10-14 03:01 am (UTC)The whole book situation is getting a bit ridiculous already. I know hubby is getting snarkity over it. *shakes head* I think I just need a room to be my library. If I could just toss mother-in-law out the door, I could use one of her rooms. It would be wonderful, my own room, shelf-lined, full of books, with my sewing machine and my tv and my treadmill.... *gets all glassy-eyed*
Oops, sorry, probably shouldn't be daydreaming and spamming up your journal like that.

Date: 2005-10-14 03:05 am (UTC)At this point I have three six foot tall bookshelves and two four foot tall bookshelves filled, plus boxes in the closet, and books in stacks as well. Plus a huge four foot tall stack of mags, as well as other stacks of mags.
Daydream away! Quite entertaining. :)
I want a room too. Wah!
