Imagine my surprise when there were Rev War re-enactors at the cemetery walk. They were very interesting.
Also,
tamony_lenore...there are pictures of a pond I was telling you about months ago. Unfortunately it isn't as pretty as it was in early Spring, all frosted over with eerie blue ice, but it is pretty cool still.

This was quite fascinating. The guy in grey is portraying an officer. The guy in the brown coat (Samwise) is portraying an average civilian who joined the militia. The guy in white is a "Ranger", one of the guys involved in guerilla warfare of the time. The girl is just cold.

Loading their weapons.

Just fired them.
There was a little old lady who immediately latched on to me at the beginning of the walk. After the guy babbled about the camp and then moved off to do the firing interlude she turned to me and sniffed, "Isn't that typical! They leave the woman behind."

Pond, long view.

Pond, my kind of view.

Self-explanatory. (Won't Lucius be annoyed? And a Muggle graveyard, at that.)

Date: 2005-10-23 01:07 am (UTC)HE will write you a post about a crazy night out with a business partner then throw in the follow up post of regretting that ever happened at no additional cost. I almost took the special, but decided to stay with my plan.

And her price can't be beat. $Free.99!

Gravestone is amusing. Who would name their kid Narcissa. What's their other kid's name? Snobbia?
