Stolen outright from [livejournal.com profile] scatteredlogic...

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

I'll never forget the night we spent in that cemetery just outside of Chilpancingo. You'd heard that there was a map buried in a grave marked Estevan Del Canto, a map that led to gold mine high in the Sierra Madres. There was only a quarter moon and we could barely see, but we dug as if our lives depended on it. I suppose they did, in a way. We were only steps ahead of the Federales, after all, and they wanted to talk to us about that, ahem, altercation at the local cantina. Finally, covered in dirt and sweat, we struck a small box, but it was empty. Somebody had beaten us to it.

I left the next day to return home, but you stayed, determined to find that map and the gold. You always were persistent. ;)
