Blerg. Assorted things.
Nov. 30th, 2005 08:45 pmI am so tired. I've been feeling sick since last night, and even though I had the best intentions, I did not get into bed until well after midnight. Today I did not feel well either. I had to resort to a can of Coke (vile stuff) in order to get through the afternoon.
Even worse, I came home, instead of going with my sister to see Depeche Mode. For free. In a suite. Yes, a $75 value, completely given up in favor of sitting in grumpy half-awareness in front of the computer. Though I might move to the couch and watch Trading Spouses.
I'm so incredibly tired that I'm not making a lot of sense. Writing is a lost cause. I seem to be going through a sleep-deprivation cycle and I'm not certain why...it usually strikes when I'm in my daydreaming state for writing, and then I just can't turn my brain off when I get in bed. Tonight, though, I will be going to bed right at 9, because I am really just that tired.
ARGH IT'S NOT ON UNTIL 9 AND I CAN'T TAPE IT BECAUSE MY VCR STILL DOESN'T WORK wah.

The fabulous
pen_and_umbra struck me over the head with Charlotte Martin. She sounds like Tori Amos, with some Kate Bush, and a vague vocal similarity to Madonna on some songs as well. The CD I'm listening to is called On Your Shore, and the song that I have fallen utterly in love with is "Limits of Our Love", which of course is a Sarah song, and I am going nuts over it. Thanks, pen!

I have so many LJ entries on the back burner right now...a characterization entry, a couple questions about tLS entries, an entry about LJ...

Must start to get ready for bed. *hugs flist*

Date: 2005-12-01 05:30 am (UTC)Oh, MAN, you must be out of your mind with tiredness! That's a chance of a lifetime. Oh, well... *hugs* Rest up because there is something nasty going around. I should know, I've been incapacitated all month with a tenacious bug. Oh, and try some Zicam. That stuff works as long as you consistently use it every day. I wished I hadn't stopped dosing myself with it.
