Bizarre dream.

valis2I dreamt that I got an agent. I paid her the customary $10 for the first month and she read my work and we were both supposed to decide if we liked each other and whether to continue the contract at the end of the month.
She gave me a green postcard that was the customary First Opinion document that agents give their writers when they start a trial contract. It had my name and a few comments on it. She used the d.a.c. comment system for the initial set of comments, meaning that she had to come up with three adjectives about my writing and they had to start with d, a, and c. She did come up with two sets, so six adjectives, but I can only remember "dark".
I thought there was something else so I kept turning the postcard over and trying to find it. Eventually I realized that she had scrawled another note on it, saying that she had found the Last Sanguimagus online and thought it was "clichéd" and "dreary". I was disappointed but I did understand her comments.
Then she was telling me how nice it was that I had retrieved that object from Smaug, and I said yes, he never woke up, I went right into my old elementary school's gym (where he was sleeping) and grabbed the object and left. I then suddenly realized how dangerous and stupid that had been.
And then I woke up.
