This sounds like a fair round-up of my opinion of Jackson's LOTR too. Yeah, it was purty and all but I just don't see what all the fuss was about honestly.
I agree with the first poster about the glaring and horribly out of place appearance of Al-Quaida in Mordor. WTF? Could we be any less subtle? Yeah, I get it. Black turban = bad guys.
