Aaaaaannnnnd two more defriendings, from newly friended friends, who must think I am one of those update-every-five-months kind of LJer. Heh. Little do they know...*laughs* You, flist that remains, are aware of my spammity leanings. Actually, I'm surprised you're still here.

First things first...a tremendous THANK YOU to the wondrous [livejournal.com profile] lfire1, who graciously britpicked tLS for me. What a fantastic thing to have waiting in my mailbox when I got home! *jumps, cheers, and throws confetti* Hooray! How awesome is that? I'm still glowing! Now I can finally finish a last round of revisions and get the Supah Revised versions of the early chapters up at all the archives.

Amazon is sending me an email that insists that I've purchased something from their Health & Fitness section within the last two months. The only things I remember purchasing are John Stewart CDs, which in my mind qualify for neither health nor fitness, unless I happen to be jumping around the living room dancing to "Wolves in the Kitchen".

I wanted to come home, but at the same time I didn't, in a way. This is the Next Step, you see. There is only a month and a half between me and the abyss. I am going to be working incredibly hard...probably harder than I've almost ever worked before, because every day I will have stuff going on. Whew. I really hope that it all works out well, because I really want this to be successful. If it's not, it's going to ruin me. (I sound all Victorian. "Alas! I am ruined!" [insert melodramatic near-faint here]) I mean, I'll still have money for fried chicken, but I'll be pretty sad.

I'm so tired, but must wait for the last of the eBay listings to finish so that I can send out invoices, or my mailbox will be awash with "Waaaaaaaah the shipping is wrong! Waaaaaah you said it would be different. I didn't read the rest of it where it says to wait and you will send me an invoice. I want an invoice nowwwwwwwww! Within minutes! I can't wait ten hours!"

I think I'm going to take [livejournal.com profile] imafarmgirl's advice and just stick with [livejournal.com profile] valis2. That's my name on SH, FA, ffnet, after all. Might as well keep it fairly uniform, no?

Though I have to say that valismort was really, really, really tempting. *evil grin*

Valis is back!!! *throws confetti*

How are you?! And yes, Lian's been raving about how good your story is (now I really suck for not jumping in yet). I must make a point to read it soon. *nods firmly*

You're thinking of changing your username? I rather like Valismort...can I be Aerynfoy then? *giggles*

*dances in confetti* I'm back and I'm groovin'. w00t!

Not only is Lian a sweet, kind, generous soul for reading 135K and correcting it for me, she is even saying nice things that make me blush. Seriously!

As for "not jumping in"...listen, girl, you have like twenty gazillion irons in the fire!!! Snape stories, Holmes stories, Goren stories...and I haven't even begun to mention your full RL! I'm just glad that we are still keeping in touch! :)

I really do like valismort, and wow, do I want to change it, except a) it's HP specific, and if I ever change fandoms everybody will think I have a bizarre username, and b) it matches my archive name at a couple archives, and I'd hate to confuse people any more than I already do. *laughs*

You know what's really scary? That there was apparently once a real [livejournal.com profile] wiglaf!

That is crazy, isn't it!

And there is, right now, a real [livejournal.com profile] joml. I'm screwed, unless [livejournal.com profile] charbonneau is available.

Aw, I was wrong. No Joml or Charbonneau. How disappointing!

[livejournal.com profile] wiglaf would be so awesome that I can't express the awesomeosity of it all. The mere idea makes me grin like an idiot.

hee! I've been laughing about it too.

And now that I know that [livejournal.com profile] joml and[livejournal.com profile] charbonneau are up for grabs...

[livejournal.com profile] wiglaf comes from Beowulf, I think.

Alas! *backhands self against forehead and pretends to swoon* I've been quite swamped lately, too.

(I sound all Victorian. "Alas! I am ruined!" [insert melodramatic near-faint here])

*sniggers*

Just be sure to pop into lj every now and then - I, for one, require regular updates of the melodrama kind. Seriously though, break a leg.

Might as well keep it fairly uniform, no?

*nods*

Though I have to say that valismort was really, really, really tempting. *evil grin*

You could use that as an email address, because it's too good not to use somehow.

And yet you are still writing! Wow.

Just be sure to pop into lj every now and then - I, for one, require regular updates of the melodrama kind.

I shall endeavor to present you with only the highest quality melodrama, m'dear. *bows*

Hmm...email address...that's a great idea. I have five already, why not a sixth? *laughs*

It's great to have you back, dancing in your living room to "Wolves in the Kitchen"...
Wait a moment? They are in the kitchen? Is that the reason for using the living room?

Good luck with your Big Project!

At the very least you can sign your posts as Valismort. That is too good to pass up.

eBay is a royal pain in the ass. I don't envy you. Good luck with the new business. I really hopes it works out for you.

EBay is such a nightmare! But, bizarrely enough, everyone paid within 24 hours. I think this is a first!

I haven't even finished reading TLS. Work is ruining my life. Where will you be updating it?

(no subject)

Date: 2006-03-01 11:50 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] valis2.livejournal.com
I haven't updated it yet...still working on that blasted chapter that I wrote, and then had to rework. And then I got busy, and everytime I look at the chapter I remember that there's something I have to include in it, but I can't remember what it is, so then I'm afraid to write more, because I'm going to accidentally omit some important bit, and so I wait until I remember, but I haven't actually remembered.

I'm thinking that at this point I should just go for it, and to hell with whatever I was supposed to remember. ;)
