Babblings.
Mar. 20th, 2006 10:46 pmThe show was decent. I tried to enjoy my day off today, but I had too much to do. eBay took a big portion of time, as well as writing a letter for a friend, and laundry, and more cold calls. The rest of the week is packed. I work tomorrow, and then I run to some appointments with local stores.
I'm beginning to think that I have a weird toll booth story for nearly every trip from MI to WI or vice versa.
So normally there are IPass lanes (where an electronic device pays your toll via charge card), automatic lanes (you throw coin change into an electronic bucket), or manual lanes (you pay an attendant in a booth). I always use automatic lanes and I always have change ready. Once in a while, during busy hours, there will be an attendant standing behind one of the coin bucket machines.
I flung my change into the machine ($1.50!), and saw something moving out of the corner of my eye. I look to the right, and at the next lane, an attendant is standing there, directly looking at me, grinning, and as I sit there, waiting for the gate to go up, he repeats his hand motion, which is exactly the motion I just made throwing the change in. Apparently I've developed a little twist at the end that he thought was amusing.
