Yeah, I know, I'm getting to be really irritating this year with so many prolonged absences.

Do you mean you want to clean the silver, or the beads? You can clean the beads with a bit of Windex or mild detergent on a soft cloth. The silver will need to be cleaned with a tarnishing cloth, or dipped, but be careful to not dip the beads if they have any sort of coating on them or it will be damaged.

To keep them tarnish free, you can stash them in a plastic ziploc bag or keep them in a jewelry box. Don't store them in cotton! It attracts moisture, which causes the tarnishing in the first place. Also, keep them away from the open air when you're not wearing them.

A couple of days? ACK. Stop leaving like that. I did a recap of our vacation when we got back a couple of days ago and tried to make it a little like your recaps (listing odd things that happened to us), but only one truly weird thing happened to me, so it's a bit lacking.
Glad you're back, even if it's just for a bit.
