Er...regarding that first image... I made this picture a few years ago:



This was when the superconductivity lab I worked in bought a restaurant-grade espresso machine, and started selling shots for a dollar (which was very popular with the graduate students, as you can imagine).

The circle with an x through it that surrounds the image is the symbol for a superconducting device called a SQUID (Superconducting QUantum Interference Device). Since the espresso machine was located in the same room as our SQUID, it seemed appropriate to name the caffeine pimping racket enterprise "Squidbucks".
