valis2I haven't had people over in ages.
I was thinking about possible party ideas, and one occurred to me...Retro Games Night.
I'll be home for three months (nearly), with only one trip, so this is a perfect time to have a little get-together. I have lots of obsolete game systems, complete with plenty of games. I have an Atari 2600, an Intellivision, an Odyssey 2, Pong, NES, SNES, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis (CD), Turbografx 16, along with Gamecube & PS2 (I may run out and get Xbox tomorrow with Fable). The Atari games are absolutely hysterical. You just have to see the Indiana Jones one to realize how misguided movie-to-video-game ports used to be.
Anyway, I thought...I'll pull the two TVs into the living room, set them up with all of these systems, and have all the games nearby, and we can just swap off systems all night long and drink.
Does this sound like fun, or does it sound idiotic?

Though I might bug you to see if you have an extra TV or something.
A Jaguar? Wow...interesting. I tried to keep up with the systems, but I missed a few, like the Jaguar...all the handhelds...the N64 and the Saturn...
I forgot to mention that I have a Dreamcast. Huh. I love the Dreamcast. I didn't put that one on the closet until recently.
