I left my dictionary in WI by accident. I was working on my friend's book, and sometimes Word's dictionary makes me want to call down heathen gods to smite innocent nearby items, so I brought my dictionary. The little one, at least, not the giant 1919 dictionary that could be used as a rather imprecise (not to mention flaking and rather grubby) murder weapon.

I have reached for the dictionary at least four times today already and become mystified when my hand encounters air. It's weird. It's like a bit of me is missing.

No dictionary?!? :(

I used my dictionary round the clock when I worked as a copy editor. I can't imagine not having one within an arm's reach.
