Fun with the grammar checker.
Dec. 13th, 2004 03:26 pmI always write my stuff in MS Word, and sometimes I'm amused by their ideas for grammar.
This:
“You never approached the Wizengamot,” he said, his mouth suddenly dry
according to Word should be
“You never approached the Wizengamot,” he said, his mouths suddenly dry
And, even more amusing, this:
"The Malfoys know more than a little about revenge, Sarah.”
“So do I,” she said calmly.
according to Word, should be:
"The Malfoys know more than a little about revenge, Sarah.”
“So do me,” she said calmly.
which seems to give it quite a different...er...effect. Though I approve of it, it is a bit early in the storyline. Hee.
