La la la home again.
Feb. 27th, 2006 09:43 pmAaaaaannnnnd two more defriendings, from newly friended friends, who must think I am one of those update-every-five-months kind of LJer. Heh. Little do they know...*laughs* You, flist that remains, are aware of my spammity leanings. Actually, I'm surprised you're still here.
First things first...a tremendous THANK YOU to the wondrous
lfire1, who graciously britpicked tLS for me. What a fantastic thing to have waiting in my mailbox when I got home! *jumps, cheers, and throws confetti* Hooray! How awesome is that? I'm still glowing! Now I can finally finish a last round of revisions and get the Supah Revised versions of the early chapters up at all the archives.
Amazon is sending me an email that insists that I've purchased something from their Health & Fitness section within the last two months. The only things I remember purchasing are John Stewart CDs, which in my mind qualify for neither health nor fitness, unless I happen to be jumping around the living room dancing to "Wolves in the Kitchen".
I wanted to come home, but at the same time I didn't, in a way. This is the Next Step, you see. There is only a month and a half between me and the abyss. I am going to be working incredibly hard...probably harder than I've almost ever worked before, because every day I will have stuff going on. Whew. I really hope that it all works out well, because I really want this to be successful. If it's not, it's going to ruin me. (I sound all Victorian. "Alas! I am ruined!" [insert melodramatic near-faint here]) I mean, I'll still have money for fried chicken, but I'll be pretty sad.
I'm so tired, but must wait for the last of the eBay listings to finish so that I can send out invoices, or my mailbox will be awash with "Waaaaaaaah the shipping is wrong! Waaaaaah you said it would be different. I didn't read the rest of it where it says to wait and you will send me an invoice. I want an invoice nowwwwwwwww! Within minutes! I can't wait ten hours!"
I think I'm going to take
imafarmgirl's advice and just stick with
valis2. That's my name on SH, FA, ffnet, after all. Might as well keep it fairly uniform, no?
Though I have to say that valismort was really, really, really tempting. *evil grin*
